A local man, Gordon Wilkinson started painting in acrylics twenty years ago before moving into the medium of watercolour. He now specialises in painting landscapes and buildings, with many of his paintings privately commissioned as gifts to celebrate a birthday or special anniversary.
Gordon’s work can often be seen exhibited in local libraries and art galleries. He conducts watercolour workshops and also teaches beginners and intermediate students at a number of local colleges. He has become most well known locally for his work as the watercolour artist for ‘Cheshire Life’ magazine. As well as illustrating a different local village each month for this prestigious publication, Gordon is often invited back to the featured village to undertake private commissions of local scenes and peoples homes.
